Scripture:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.” — Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

Devotional:

Purpose always requires courage. Joshua wasn’t stepping into something easy—he was stepping into something promised. There’s a difference.

courage in calling

Courage isn’t loud. It’s often quiet obedience repeating what God said even when feelings fade.

This connects with Week 1’s devotional on “Choosing Faith Over Fear.” Fear never leaves on its own — you have to walk past it.

God doesn’t require you to feel brave.
He calls you to act in obedience.

Reflection Questions

  1. What calling or assignment are you avoiding because of fear?
  2. What would obedience look like today?

Prayer Point

  • Father, give me courage to walk boldly in my calling
